In this tough economy, I believe no techie should have a single source of income.
We must be aware of the amazing opportunities that the financial domain has for us.
In order to equip myself with the nitty-gritties of investment and stock trading, I decided to do a project in this field.
I am leveraging the power of AI and ML models to come up with a profitable algorithmic trading solution.
To learn more about Large Language models such as chatGPT, and understanding how they can be applied to some basic generative AI use cases, I embarked on the journey to fine-tune a GPT 3.5 model (ada).
I created a web-based chat-bot-style interface to the tuned model to help employees of a dummy organization interact with it and learn more about the company's policies in a fun interactive way.
Everytime I go shopping (as a student with super heavy loan debt), I feel the need to check if the items I am buying are available for a cheaper price at a competitive store.
I end up googling several different websites for the product wasting my precious time.
To solve this problem, I have created an android app that scans the barcode of a product and looks up similar or same products at other vendors within seconds.
It also allows to save items for reference or add them to cart tp keep track of my cart total for me so I can use my brain juice in other places :)
Furthermore, it is integrated with AI in a chatbot fashion to give 'solicited' advice or information on the scanned product! Who needs a buddy to go shopping now ;)
